Cottage rental rates and seasons

The Wisconsin resort is open year round. Daily rental rates are $85 with a 2 night minimum. Weekly rates are $425.00 to $525.00. Accommodations are for 4 to 6 people. Prices assume 4-person occupancy; additional persons are $10 apiece per night.

Accommodation details

The lakefront resort has 4 fully-furnished cottages. All lodging has a full housekeeping setup including microwave, Weber barbecue grill, TV, and linens (towels excluded).

The resort has 3 docks for fishing and your boat. The property also has a facility for cleaning your fish.

Children will enjoy playing in the playground and swimming in the sand-bottomed lake. End your evening with a campfire near the lake.

Smoking is allowed, as are pets for a $50 fee.

Surroundings

The property is wooded and overlooks the Minong Flowage. The Minong Flowage is approximately 1,600 acres, with a maximum water depth of 20 feet. Enjoy fishing and ice fishing for bass, bluegill, crappie, northern pike, and walleye. Also enjoy local hunting (deer, duck, and grouse), and snowmobiling (the resort is on a snowmobile trail).

Within a ½-hour drive are state parks, tubing and canoeing on nearby rivers, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, go-carts, golf and miniature golf, bowling, and assorted museums. Nearby Hayward and Spooner have restaurants, theaters, and shopping.

Additional Information

Enjoy the scenic view at the View Point Bar and Grill that features a pool table juke box, and video games. All televised sporting events are broadcast in the bar which serves hamburgers, steak sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, appetizers, and pizza. Also available are ice, pop, and off-sale liquor.
