Motel and Cabin Rental Rates And Seasons

The Pennsylvania vacation cabins and motels are available for rent from May 1 through November 1. Rental rates for the cabins are $379 per week.

Accommodation Details

Sleepy Valley Cabins has 10 cabins that accommodate up to 6 people each, and 9 motel rooms that each sleep up to 4 people. The motel rooms are air-conditioned, and have a refrigerator and cable TV.

Each cabin has a living room with sofa and Murphy bed, bedroom with double bed and bunk beds, TV, and a kitchen with a coffeemaker, microwave, pots & pans and utensils. Each cabin also has its own large deck, picnic table, fire ring, The cabins are air-conditioned and heated.

Pets are not allowed. The cabins are handicap accessible.

Surroundings

Sleepy Valley Cabins is secluded and quiet, and the area is mountainous and wooded. The cabins adjoin the Prince Gallitzin State Park in the Western Pennsylvania Woodlands. The park has more than 6000 acres of rugged, forested, picturesque parkland. Sleepy Valley lodging is adjacent to Prince Gallitzin State Park, in the northern Cambria County Allegheny Mountain region. The park has a beach, picnic area, and marina.

A mile from the cabins and in Prince Gallitzin State Park is Lake Glendale, a 1700-acre horseshoe-shaped lake best known for its bass, pike, muskie, and panfish fishing. Prince Gallitzin has a modern marina with complete facilities. The marina provides gasoline, free launching ramps, boat rentals and a boat and motor repair shop.

Nearby recreations include 8 golf courses within a 45-minute drive, riding stable (about 10 minutes away), rifle range, and skeet shoot club.

Restaurants, service stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience and hardware stores are also nearby.
