Spring Season Accommodation DetailsYou will feel right at home! This spacious home accommodates up to 12 people with five bedrooms and two baths. Plus it is right on the waterfront of beautiful Lake Sunapee. With two floors, there is plenty of room for everyone, with a large living room on the main floor and a large living room for guests (or all the kids) on the lower floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can think of. On the main floor there are two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. On the lower floor the blue room has a full size bed, the white room has twin beds, the yellow room has one twin bed and a twin sofa bed, and the living room has a full size sofa bed. Each room is nicely decorated and comes with plenty of linens, blankets, and pillows. There are three televisions with cable TV, two VCR's and a ton of movies. High speed internet access is available. There are two fireplaces and lots of comfy chairs to relax with your favorite book. Looking over the water is the sundeck with tables and chairs, chaise lounges, and a barbeque grill. We know you will spend a lot of time out there. The home has heat and air conditioning and a washer/dryer. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. The lakefront property has a pier, barbecue grill, picnic table, and fire pit. Pets are allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible. SurroundingsThis home sits on the shore of Lake Sunapee right in Sunapee Harbor. Lake Sunapee is a class "A" water body with crystal clear spring waters, is at an elevation of 1100 feet, and is the sixth largest lake in New Hampshire. You will be amazed at how clear the water is! Right at your home is a wonderful place to swim and your own pier for your boat. You can rent boats, kayaks, canoes, and sailboats close by. The dock has some nice chairs and a table, and is a great place to sit by the water. The property faces west, so the sunsets are perfect. Water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting. Just an easy walk a quarter mile down scenic Lake Avenue is Sunapee Harbor, the center of activity with restaurants, shops, and cruise boats. Relax in the park, listen to the concerts in the gazebo, or grab an ice cream. Sunapee Harbor is a very special place. Fifteen minutes to the west is the town of Newport with large and small stores on the Main Street. Fifteen minutes to the East is New London with plenty of stores and services. And if you really want a Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot, or other large store while on your vacation, they are just a few more minutes away. Lake Sunapee covers 4064 acres and has a water depth of 110 feet. Motors with no size limit are allowed. Fish include Landlock Salmon, Lake Trout, and Bass.
