Cabin rental rates and seasons

One vacation cabin is available for rent year round. The other two cabins don't have running water in winter. The cabins may be rented daily or weekly:

Cabins: Daily $75, Weekly $525
Bunkhouse: Daily $60, Weekly $420

The owner, Ron Shaleen, offers fishing and hunting guide service plus taxidermy service. black bear and white tail deer.

Accommodation details

The property has 3 cabins, accommodating 6 in cabin #1, 4 in cabin #2 and 10 in cabin #3. The amenities depend on the cabin and include heat and air conditioning, fireplaces, decks, phones, cable TV's and VCR's, and kitchens with coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

One cabin was remodeled with pine boards right from a mill at Orr with all new Anderson windows, patio doors, new siding, and a new deck. A 21 foot pontoon boat is right in front for easy loading. Cabin #3 has a gas fire place and much more. A smaller bunkhouse is 6 feet from the lake and has all the things you will need.

The lake property has a sand beach, dock, children's playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and fire pits. The property has a boat launch, and boat and motor rentals are available.

Pets OK if owners pickup after them. No smoking. The cabins are partially handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cabins are secluded and quiet. The cabins are only 50 ft from the lake on a dead end driveway. The property is wooded and has 400 ft of shoreline on Ash Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing, and waterskiing. Other nearby recreation includes hiking, snowmobiling, and hunting.

Ash Lake covers about 675 acres and has a water depth of 40 feet. Great fishing for crappies, northerns, walleys, sunfish perch, and trophy smallmouth bass. Fishing guide service is available.
