Rental rates and seasonsThe lakeside resort is open in all seasons. Daily rentals are available September 1 through May 31. Peak season rates (Dec 15 - Mar 31 and June 1 - Oct 15) are $89 to $199 per day/night with weekly rentals available May 25 through Labor Day for $675 to $1095 per week with a 10% discount for multiple week rentals. Off season rates (Oct 16 - Dec 14 and Apr 1 - May 31) are $79 to $175 per day. Accommodation detailsThe family vacation resort has 6 cabins and 1 house, sleeps 4-16 people each. Some linens, pots & pans and dishes are provided. Satellite TV in all cabins. No towels are provided. Pets and smoking are permitted in some of the cabins. ($25 extra charge per pet per stay). The property has a restaurant / bar and convenience store. It is partially accessible to handicapped persons. SurroundingsThe secluded resort is in a wilderness area, with paved and well-plowed roads. It has direct water access from Lake Superior via the Mendota Ship Canal. The resort is on Lac La Belle. There is a nearby DNR boat launch, and boat, motor, and ATV rentals are available. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, and water skiing. Nearby recreation includes golfing, hiking, bicycling, hunting, snowmobiling, cross-country and downhill skiing. The on-site convenience store sells munchies, ice, beer, wine, pop, and basic groceries and supplies. Gas is available on the lake and on the road. The new Bear Belly Bar & Grill offers sandwiches, Chili, and appetizers (open noon - 9 pm) in a beautiful lakeside dining room overlooking Lac La Belle, and Mt. Bohemia. Lake Lac La Belle is approximately 1,100 acres, with a water depth of 39 feet. It has many fish and quiet places.
