Rental rates and seasonsThe Upper Peninsula resort rents log cabins from early May to December. Rental rates for 2011 are from $445 week for a 1 bedroom cabin to $530 week for a 2 bed cabin to $745 week for a 3 bedroom. Daily rates are also available. There are also 2 bedroom cabins so check out the rates and pictures at www.edgewaterresortmi.com. Accommodation detailsThe Michigan/Wisconsin boundary water riverfront resort has 9 one, two and three bedroom housekeeping cabins with queen, double and twin beds, accommodating from 2 to 6 people. Each cabin has view of the Menominee River, and includes cable TV, DVD, a fully-equipped kitchen, barbecue, and picnic table. Linens are provided and your bed is ready to climb into.The resort has a large campfire pit, playground, children's wading beach, boat docks, a clean fish house with running water, laundry facilities and a connecting relaxing island. Aluminum boats are provided with each cabin. Outboard motors are available to rent or you may bring your own. Pets are permitted in some rooms. Relaxing, laughing, and fun are permitted in all! An important consideration to remember is that we Do Not Charge for boats, oars, life preservers or boat slips. You can have campfires, pets and visitors. We try to make your vacation the best it can be. Oh, yeah... o not forget to come to our potluck dinner on Monday! SurroundingsThe cabins are on the Menominee River boundary waters and are nearby recreation areas including 9 golf courses including Timberstone (rated #3 by Golf Digest), fishing in many lakes, streams and rivers, hiking Fumee Lake Natural Area, underground mine tours, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, bicycling, fall color touring, ATV trails, antique shopping and hunting.The Menominee River is a large boundary river with depths from 4 to 40 feet with sandbars, sunken islands, points, rock riffs and deadhead log areas.
