The vacation home has 3 bedrooms/2 baths and sleeps 8. The cabin has heat and air conditioning, a fireplace, deck, washer/dryer, phone, cable TV, VCR, radio, and CD player. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.
This waterfront home has 1600 sq ft of living space with many antique furnishings. Recently remodeled in 2003 with new carpet, flooring and wall treatments. Both the Den and Living Room have couches with foldout beds. The home has a patio with a hammock, and also a 2 car garage.
This home is great for families, especially with small children. Lake side is a patio with a protective sea wall, large sugar sand beach, and crystal clear water. The water is extremely shallow for the first 100+ feet.
The lakefront property has a 100 ft sand beach, basketball, picnic table, barbecue grill, and fire pit. A boat buoy is available to tie your boat to.
Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.
The home is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Nearby water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, trophy fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.
Our Waterfront Home is on Old Mission Peninsula, which is in the middle of Northern Michigan Wine Country and Cherry Orchards. There are numerous vineyards, cherry orchards and exceptional restaurants on Old Mission Peninsula. Located only minutes from Traverse City for shopping and many recreational activities including 3 parks with full court basketball, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, mountain biking, kid's playground, swimming beaches, boat launches and picnic areas. Old Mission Peninsula offers some of the best road biking in the country. With beautiful rolling hills, vistas of both bays, cherry orchards and vineyards abound.
Over 30 golf courses are within an hour. 3 major downhill ski resorts are within 1.5 hours.
Grand Traverse Bay is part of Lake Michigan and has a water depth of 575 feet. Fish include Salmon, Trout, Perch, Whitefish, and Smallmouth Bass. Fishing guide service is available.
