It is nicely redecorated in the Northwoods theme. It includes a maple kitchen with oak floors and all new appliances. We include all dishes, pots and pans, microwave, blender and coffee maker. The bathroom has all new fixtures and tiled floors. The laundry room has a new washer and dryer and tiled floors. The cottage has four bedrooms on the main level (queen, full, twin, and full futon/twin bunk) and another in the walk out basement (full futon). All beds are furnished with nice linens, pillows, and quilts. The large family room overlooks the lake and has 2 couches, large chair and cable TV and a VCR with over 100 videos. The walk out basement has a game room with an air hockey table, mini pool table and numerous board games. Off of the walk out basement is a covered porch with seating. We supply all of the towels, linens, soap and paper products. The cottage has a sandy beach and includes a new dock. The beach has a fire pit with chairs and we include the firewood and marshmallow roasting sticks. The cottage has a patio with table and chairs off of the entry area, another large deck with a charcoal grill and picnic table, a covered porch off of the walk out basement, and a small deck just off of the beach. The lakefront property has a children's playground, barbecue grill, fire pit, and picnic table. A boat is provided. $250 fee for dogs. Smoking is not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible. SurroundingsThe home is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Nearby water recreation includes swimming and fishing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting. We are located on a dead-end road that has a county park across the road with miles of wooded walking trails. Just around the corner is a great restaurant/bar that has the areas best pizza. We also have a new grocery store, pizza place, coffee shop and movie rental store just 3 miles away. An indoor ice skating rink is very close by as well as a ranch that rents horses and has river tube tours. Remember your childhood memories of wonderful Northern Michigan summers or create new ones with your family! This fully remodeled 5 bedroom/1 bath cottage is full of Northwoods charm. No detail has been spared to make your stay on Chandler Lake a week you all will remember. The cottage is situated on a great fishing/swimming lake with 100 feet of sandy beachfront. The hard sand bottom lake has a gradual slope so it is very swimmer friendly. Chandler Lake is also well known in the area as one of the best fishing lakes for bluegill, perch and bass. It has many coves for you to explore and right in front of the cottage is a small sandy island the kids will love to visit. Imagine roasting marshmallows in the beach fire pit every night under the clear star-filled skies.
