The Michigan vacation getaway cottage is available for rent from late May through late Oct. Rental rates for the lake house are:

2010 Weekly Rates:
Sunday to Sunday rental

Special: June: $800
July & August: $975
Sept - Oct: $850

Weekend Rates:
May, Sept, & Oct (June upon availability)
Fri, Sat, Sun: $300
2 night minimum stay

Check-in: 3 PM, check-out: 10 AM.
Must be 25 or older to rent.
Quiet time: 11PM - 8AM
$35 per approved pet

Accommodation Details

The vacation home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, and sleeps 6. One bedroom is on the main floor with a double bed. Upstairs has 2 doubles, 1 twin and a ceiling fan. A sunroom overlooks the lake.

The cottage has oil heat, a sun porch with screened windows, deck, cordless phone, Dish TV, 19" TV, DVD, VCR combo, AM/FM/CD radio alarm clock, and hairdryer. For hot nights, 3 large floor fans are available. Window air conditioner. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, can-opener, dishes, pots/pans, and large griddle.  Pillows and blankets are provided. Please bring linens, towels and paper goods, except toilet paper (we provide). Laundermat in Port Sanilac.

The cottage is only 100 ft from the water, with just 7 steps down to the beach.

The lakefront property has beach chairs, tables, umbrellas, volleyball, charcoal and gas grill. A fire pit can be made on the beach only. A rowboat with oars and 3 life jackets is provided. Also available are 3 adult bikes and 3 children's bikes.

Smoking is not allowed. Pets are considered on a case to case basis - must be house broken. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The lakefront home is secluded and quiet, and the property is shaded by cedar trees. Recreation includes swimming, scuba diving, fishing, and golf.

Lake Huron is one of the great lakes and has a max water depth of 750 feet. Fish include salmon, perch, brown trout, walleye and catfish.

The cottage is located 40 miles north of Port Huron in Forester Township - just off M-25. Flint Intl Airport: 100 miles.
