Vacation Cottage Rental Rates and Seasons

The Michigan vacation getaway cottage is available for rent all year. Summer rentals are weekly Memorial Day through Labor Day. For the rest of the year, rates are lower and by days, weekends, or weeks.

$300 refundable security deposit
$700/week Off season
Off season daily rental available (minimum 2 day)

Accommodation Details

The cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 people. The frontroom has 2 queen sofabeds. The front porch facing the lake has windows throughout with 2 queen size futons. The fully equipped eat-in kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, washer and dryer. There is one bathroom with a shower. The cottage has gas heat and air conditioning, phone (local calls), cable TV, radio, and DVD player. Pillows, blankets, sheets, and towels are provided.

The lakefront property has a lawn up to the lake, pier/dock, picnic table, fire pit, and gas grill. The vacation property also has a boat launch.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The lakefront home is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing and water skiing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.

Lake Brownwood, located in southwestern Michigan, is three miles north of Paw Paw. Lake Brownwood is a 150 acre, spring fed, sand bottom lake with a water depth of 70 feet. Fish include perch, bass, bullheads, blue gills, sun fish, pike and crappie. A nearby river has trout & salmon. Motors are allowed on the lake.
