Accommodation DetailsThis is a beautiful 100 yr old 5 bedroom lodge located on a mainland peninsula that extends into the midst of the 36 island archipegalo known as the Les Cheneaux Islands. Beautifully furnished, lots of space, 3 dining tables, large kitchen with 50 cupboards. Used for meetings, weddings, showers, and to entertain 3 Michigan governors. The lodge has 5 bedrooms/3 baths, and sleeps 26. The cabin has heat, a screened porch, fireplace, deck, washer/dryer, cable TV, DVD/VCR, and high speed internet. The fully-equipped large kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. Also available are a one bedroom honeymoon cottage and a fully equipped boathouse with kitchen, bath, and all the amenities of home. The lakefront property has a sandy beach, picnic table, fire pit, adiro dock chairs, outdoor loveseat swings, large grass lawn for games, and huge 30 ft grand porch open to lake breezes. A boat is provided for guests and a motor may be rented. Pets are allowed. No smoking please. The house is partially handicapped accessible. SurroundingsThe lakefront home is secluded and quiet. Nearby recreation includes boating, golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting. Lake Huron is one of the great lakes. Fish include perch, salmon and all other great lakes fish.
