Rental Rates and Seasons

The Michigan cabins and cottages are available for rent all year. Rentals are by the week from Memorial Day to Labor Day and range from $1000 up to $2800 per week. The cabins are available for long weekend rentals (minimum 2-night stays) between Labor Day and Memorial Day and range from $150 per night to $300 per night.

Accommodation Details

The vacation property has 5 cabins and cottages. The homes vary in size from small to large, and they accommodate from 4 to 8 people each. The homes have heat, fireplaces, decks, balconies, phones, TV's and VCR's, and kitchens with dishwashers, microwaves, coffee makers, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens are provided.

The lake property has a sand beach, pier, barbecue grills, and a fire pit.

Smoking is allowed, pet are not. The cabins and cottages are not handicap accessible.

Surroundings

The cabins and cottages are secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. The property is on Higgins Lake, where water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing, boating and waterskiing, and canoeing (a gravel road separates the cabins from the beach). Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.

Enjoy the sixth most beautiful lake in the world! Higgins Lake covers approximately 10,000 acres and has a maximum water depth of 140 feet. Fish include perch, largemouth bass, northern pike, and more. Fishing guide service is available.
