Vacation Cottage Rental Rates and Seasons

The Michigan vacation getaway cottages are available for rent all year. Rental rates are as follows:

Accommodation Details

The cottages have heat and bathrooms with showers. Blankets and pillows are provided. Wood is provided for fires. The kitchen has dishes, and pots and pans. Each cottage has a picnic table.

All cottages have a view of the lake. There is a stairway near the upper cottage and efficiency cottage that goes down to the lake level where there is a common area with both sun and shade for guests to enjoy.

The lakefront property has a pier/dock, children's playground, volleyball, horseshoes, and fire pit. The property also includes swim raft, sandbox, and fish cleaning shed. Guests may bring their own boats and personal watercrafts. Rowboats, a pedal boat, and a canoe are provided.

Smoking is allowed. No pets, please. The cottages are not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

Nearby water recreation includes swimming and fishing. Other nearby recreation includes golf. A movie theater, several churches, stores, restaurants, and a bowling alley are nearby.

Fremont Lake covers 790 acres and has a water depth of 88 feet. Fish include perch, bluegill, walleye, and bass, including speckled bass. There are no time restrictions on speed boating. The lake has a sandy bottom and gradually deepens from shore.  

The resort is 10 minutes from the Muskegon River, which is known for its fine walleye, steelhead, and salmon fishing. Tubing and canoeing can also be done on the river.
