Vacation House Rental Rates and Seasons

The Michigan vacation getaway house is available for rent May - September at a weekly rate of $600.

Accommodation Details

The vacation guest house has 2 bedrooms/1 bath, and sleeps up to 5. The cottage has heat, a radio, and TV. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

The property has a dock, fire pit, and picnic table.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The house is secluded and on the Michigamme River at the edge of the 40,000 acre Wilderness Shores Recreation Area. From River's Edge...the Michigamme River is boatable to the Peavy Pond Reservoir. Its a beautiful 3 mile trip down undeveloped shorelines in the heart of the Wilderness Shores Recreation Area. Water recreation includes trophy fishing, canoeing, boating, kayaking, and wildlife viewing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.

Guide service, bait, boat launch, boat, kayak and canoe rental are available at the nearby Michi-Aho resort.

Peavy Pond Reservoir covers 3,500 acres and has a water depth of 50 feet. Boat motors are allowed. Fish include walleye, northern pike, muskies, smallmouth bass, perch, and crappies.

Driving directions...we are 5 miles east of Crystal Falls on Hwy M-69, then 1/4 mile north on River Road.
