Vacation Cabin Rental Rates and Seasons

Friday afternoon through the next Friday morning: $800/wk plus 7% lodging tax.

Accommodation Details

The vacation cabin has 2 bedrooms/1 bath sleeps 4 + sofas. The cabin has heat, washer/dryer, TV and VCR/DVD player. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

The bunkhouse offers 2 twin beds, table, chairs and woodstove. Great for the older kids. The main cabin has a queen bed in the lakeside bedroom and two twins in the road side bedroom. Bathroom has a shower stall (no tub). The rest of the cabin is an open style with kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen has a cooking island surrounded with bar stools.

The lakefront property has a beach, dock, horseshoes, barbecue grill, and fire pit. A boat launch is available on the lake.

Pets must be under owner's control. Dog run available. Smoking outside only. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cabin is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Nearby water recreation includes swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, trophy fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing, and hunting.

A restaurant is within 4 miles and additional restaurants are in Brownville and Milo. Gorgeous view of Mount Katahdin from center of lake. 1 hour drive from Bangor, Maine (closest airport), 4 1/2 hour drive from Boston.

Schoodic Lake covers 7168 acres and has a water depth of 188 feet. Boat motors are allowed. Fish include togue, brook trout, salmon, bass and cusk.

Cabin is located in Lakeview but is accessed from the Brownville side of the lake. 3 miles up well maintained dirt road.
