Vacation Cottage Rental Rates and SeasonsThe Indiana vacation getaway cottage is available for rent all year. Rental rates are: Daily from Sunday-Thursday: Friday and Saturday nights: Romantic Weekend ... Friday-Sunday The above rates are based upon 4 adults or a family of 4. There will be an additional $10 per person per night up to accommodations for 7 people.. April through November (hunters and fishermen welcome) You will be charged a $100 Deposit when you check-in (plus $2.00 per key). For a full refund the unit must be in the same condition as when you entered. FOLLOW CHECK-OUT LIST ENTIRELY and all items accounted for as when you entered. AN EXTRA CHARGE OF $25 PER HOUR may be assessed for each hour you overstay your check-out time. Any damages to furniture or structure will be assessed and billed accordingly and included in a detailed letter to party or parties on agreement. Accommodation DetailsEnjoy a day, a week or a weekend with us in the comfort of our "Kountry Kottage." Your accommodations include 3 bedrooms, living room, eat in kitchen with dinning table and 4 main chairs, utility room and one bathroom. The master bedroom sleeps 2 in a King bed and two bedrooms upstairs sleep 5 for a total of 7. This is a full size 1200 square foot house with an enclosed seasonal porch. It is designed as a bright and cheerful cottage with 1/2 acre of play area! The property has volleyball, horseshoes, barbecue grill, and a fire pit. The cottage includes heat and air conditioning, and TV with DVD/VCR player. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. The cottage is not on the lake but lake access is nearby. When planning your vacation to Indiana Beach on Lake Shafer, serious or just for fun fishing or that round of golf, you might want to bring extra items if you are staying in our cottage: Your favorite Pillow and pillow covers, an extra blanket, Beach towels, and a few paper products. The items listed above are furnished in our cottage but limited supplies. Other items you might wish to bring include: radio, fishing tackle, your boat, life preservers, extra lawn chairs, out door games, and don't forget the golf clubs and fishing poles.. Just a reminder ... Indiana weather can be unpredictable, come prepared! Public Boat docks are close by, along with bait shops for your fishing supplies! No pets allowed. Smoking outside the cottage only. The house is not handicapped accessible. SurroundingsThe cottage is secluded and on 1/2 acre of wooded property (not located on the lakes). Nearby water recreation includes swimming and fishing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, bicycling, and hunting. A public boat dock, Lake Shafer boat dock, is approximately 1/2 mile away. There is "More than Corn in Indiana!" There is Black Angus rooming in the pastures, home grown vegetables, Indiana Beach Amusement Park, fishing, golfing next door, and several small town features close by when you stay at the "Krintz's Kountry Kottage". We are located just 1/2 mile off the main path to Indiana Beach Amusement park, 3 blocks from one of the best fishing sites below the Norway Dam, plus right around the corner from us is Pine View Resort with 18 holes of golfing! Monticello is a small town with big town features. We are best known for Indiana Beach Amusement Park, our serious fishing and golf! We are located in the center of 2 man made lakes, created by 2 Dams, Norway and Oakdale. Come and enjoy what our small town has to offer, by taking a couple of days or a week off from the BIG city stress! We are waiting to meet you and getting to know you better!!
