Mountain cabin rental rates and seasons

The Colorado vacation getaway cabin is available for rent year-round. Rental rates are:

Daily rate (2 nights minimum): $70/day
Weekly rate (6 nights): $360/week
Monthly rate:
May-Sept: $900/month
Oct-April $600/month

Additional charges may apply for groups larger than five.

Jack's Cabin is a furnished A-frame cabin with cooking facilities, perfect for the self-directed vacationer or for someone seeking a quiet retreat. The vacation cabin has 2 bedrooms (2 double beds, 1 twin bed) and 1 bath, sleeping up to 5 people. The home has heat and a deck. The kitchen has a coffee maker, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.

Mature pets are allowed. Smoking is outdoors only. The cabin is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

Jack's Cabin is secluded and located at the edge of a pine forest in southern Colorado's Wet Mountains. The cabin offers easy access to hiking trails, lake and stream fishing, and numerous historic sites. Other recreation includes cross-country skiing, and hunting. Amateur astronomers are welcome! The elevation of 6,600 feet and dark skies offers good viewing conditions.

The property is located in Custer County, Colorado, a prime vacation area. It borders the San Isabel National Forest and is located within an easy drive of the Sangre de Cristo and Spanish Peaks wilderness areas.

Jack's cabin is within a 30-minute drive of Westcliffe (the county seat) and Florence, Colorado. The nearest large cities are Pueblo (45 minutes) and Colorado Springs (1 hr., 15 minutes).
