Sturgeon Bay is in northeast Wisconsin, in beautiful Door County.

Sturgeon Bay has a population of about 7,000.
Located in the heart of Door County, it was voted "Friendliest City in the State."
Located at "the thumb" of Wisconsin, the area is an outstanding location for many water sports.
The fishing is great, and both cool and warm water species can be taken from one location.
The town has several interesting museums, movie theatres, bars, restaurants and shopping.
Nearby are several golf courses, fishing excursions, boat rentals and more.
Within easy reach is the rest of Door County, with its small tourist villages, beaches, cliffs, dunes, forests, and parks.
Gills Rock, the furthest most northerly point in Door County without taking the ferry across to explore Washington Island, is a short drive away.
Sturgeon bay is just 40 minutes from Green Bay and the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame.
Sturgeon Bay is also world-famous for the mega aluminum yachts built right here and sold all over the world, and most summer nights you view the construction from behind the ropes.
This area also has lots of winter sport activity.
